Giving the Time of Day on What Matters

I was driving through some treacherous wintry weather while taking mental inventory of what to do if this or that. T's crossed, I's dotted.

But then my mind wandered to a story about a woman who ran out of gas and called a man that she had been seeing.*  A guy that not only had her mind, but had her time, her running for him, her heart, her soul, her devotion, her body. She called him several times and he kept saying that he would call back.  The guy never came.  It was around the time that he had to pick up his wife and kids.

So...

If a man can call a woman anytime, but she can only call him during certain hours of the day...

If a man can be all in a woman's business, but there are boundaries that she can't cross in his business ...

If a man can come over when he wants something, but can never show up when she needs something...

If a man tells a woman that he loves her, but his actions show her that he doesn't give a flying flip about her...

Heck, if the man is married or living with somebody...

Then that man is not worth a second of that woman's day

Another thing...

If a woman handles her business and have things in place, it's probable she won't be a helpless, dependent damsel in distress.

*Hah. No. It wasn't me.  :)
